I'm pleased to share with you a new release, Broad Street Sessions. Over the last three years, I've had the privilege to work with some Atlanta's greatest talent to shape the sound of these songs for live performance. They've evolved in many ways from the original recordings from First Flight and Inertia. Before moving on to my next project, I wanted to memorialize this work, showcasing the power of collaboration and friendship. Thank you Steven Cervantes (bass), Christopher Edwards (guitar), Alexa Edmonds (keys), Jared Michael Pepper (drums), Dan Carey Bailey (engineering and mixing), and Jeremi Johnson (mastering) for all your hard work in putting this together. We recorded these songs at Broad Street Visitors Center, which was a fantastic experience and felt significant as a way to honor the legacy of Broad Street in Atlanta's DIY music culture. I also want to send my gratitude to past and occasional members of the band who were instrumental in cultivating these tunes to their current form: Dylan Banks, Kimb Collins, Jared Collins, Jeremi Johnson and Gage Gilmore. Shout out Melissa Alexander (AKA Phyllis Iller) for the cover photography!
